Stephen Ellis A.C.E. has been editing documentaries since the early 2000s. He has cut a more than seventy films and series for worldwide TV and cinema, and his films include major award winners including Emmy, BAFTA, RTS, Grierson and Peabody awards. Ellis is a BAFTA and Emmy winner and has been nominated for a prestigious Eddie award and an Academy Award.

He lives in Melbourne, Australia where he works as a freelance editor. He also offers consultancy on both style and workflow for projects of any size.
